Daniel Johnston was an Austin, TX based artist and musician.

He signed his art BEWM. A young artist who lived for the trade, the collaboration, the shared moment of making. His true canvas was community, he turned acquaintances into friends and friends into family.
In 2023, BEWM died by suicide at 18. BEWM Coffee exists to carry his life forward honestly: art, coffee, conversation, and a big table with extra chairs. Every bag supports street artists and nonprofits serving young people navigating mental health, homelessness, and isolation.
Because connection is prevention.
