Canvas Series Drop 002 – Rabbit Snake

This Canvas Series release features artwork by Rabbit Snake, the Austin based street artist known for quiet repetition and instantly recognizable characters that slowly settle into the fabric of a city.

Rabbit Snake moves through public space like a wise old owl. He is observant, patient, and intentional. His work appears again and again throughout the streets, building familiarity through presence rather than spectacle.

The first artist in residence at Art From The Streets, Rabbit Snake carries community into everything he makes. Rabbit Snake believes that people are more important than art. His practice reflects care, preparation, and a calm presence.

This collaboration continues the Canvas Series tradition of honoring artists who build culture through connection and care.

ABOUT THE COFFEE
Inside the bag is a Honduras micro-lot featuring Lempira and Parainema varieties, grown at 1300 to 1800 meters in the Lempira region near the El Salvadorian border.

This washed coffee is hand harvested by various small shareholder producers who deliver cherry to a centralized washing station. By centralizing the washing and patio drying process, producers maintain consistency and quality while focusing on careful picking and farm management. Many farms range from 5 to 30 hectares, and cooperative collaboration provides better access to international markets.

The coffee is patio dried for 21 days and roasted to a medium profile.

In the cup, expect moderate acidity, a very sweet milk chocolate body, and a clean, slightly tannic finish. Notes of milk chocolate lead, with green grape brightness and a gentle hazelnut undertone.
