You can choose whole bean or ground when you order. We offer one standard grind in "medium" for drip/pour-over. We recommend whole bean if you have a grinder — coffee tastes best when ground fresh right before brewing. But we're happy to grind it for you.
Why does BEWM Coffee cost more than grocery store coffee?
Because grocery store coffee was roasted 60-90 days ago and has been sitting in warehouses losing flavor. Our coffee is roasted to order and shipped within 2-3 days of roasting. You can smell the difference the moment you open the bag.
Also, we pay artists up to $2,000 per collaboration and farmers above fair-trade rates. That matters. Premium pricing reflects the quality of the coffee and the value of the people who create it.
